Molly's Weather Poem

It was sunny Monday,
and we all went out to play.
On Tuesday it was cloudy,
the rain was on its way.
It rained all day on Wednesday,
and everything got soaked.
The fog rolled in on Thursday,
and everything was cloaked.
Friday brought worse weather,
a tornado passed near town.
By Saturday it got colder,
as the weather did calm down.
By Sunday it was snowing,
and we were playing out again.
What a wild week of weather,
I feel bad for weather men.

always seeking to know more

cloud cover–steel gray
icy winds blow and chill bones

so much to get done
I sit, daunted, at my desk
chaos overwhelms

the words appear on the page
they come from--where?

I constanty look
Every time I don't see you
