quelling the desire to be ever efficacious
stopping to smell the air around me
letting the now infiltrate the what might be
experiencing the world instead of sliding through it
dwelling on the delicious pleasure of inactivity
living life in a balance

It was good meeting you today! Do you happen to know the official Sun Belt website off the top of your head? I was looking for it and somehow made my way here. :)
Here's the poem you asked for:
Politick, by Erin Beaver
I hesitate to imitate or emulte your speech.
It's fabulous, mellifluous, and superfluous, I say,
But I fear your words are insincere, fabricated each,
And have not the peace, the patience to be bamboozled in this way.
