Who am I?
A friend of yours when
the grass was greener
the sky was bluer
the earth was younger
and our hair was browner
I am not
as good as many people think
(or a good as I'd really like to be)
as bad as some people think
I am sometimes
a stranger to my closest friends
a friend to strangers
I am regretful
for the pain and hurt I've caused
for being selfish
for the relationships I've lost
for not saying this sooner
I am thankful
for second (and third ... ) chances
for memories
for being blessed today more than I deserve
for the chance to say this now
for who I believe I can be
I am
Tyson's dad
Kristin's husband
Jessie's and Judy's son
Wendy's and Kathy's brother

I am
a Mac
a runner
a geek
a libertarian, therefore screwed
